Welcome back! After a year of lockdown it’s both exciting and a relief to be back open again in both Hereford and Ludlow
And now we’re looking forward to opening in the Assembly Rooms. The Assembly Rooms have now taken back possession and of the building and work on the kitchen and café has begun. We’re hoping to be up and running near the beginning of July, but we’re not yet totally counting our chickens as there have been unexpected delays before! Re-opening soon
Mapping the futureWe’re very excited to have finalized the artwork for a map of Ludlow to adorn the walls of our new Bill’s Kitchen Ludlow at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms. Katy Alston – a local Shropshire resident – is the wonderful artist and you can see more of her work here: katy-alston.co.uk/maps. Can you identify all the food shops we reference?
Opening soon!Building works are progressing apace at the Assembly Rooms. In the café area (the right hand part of the ground floor as you look at the Assembly Rooms from the market) the front of house area is painted and the new floor is down. During March and April the space will be fitted out and the kitchen installed. All being well (and that’s not something we can take for granted in these strange times) we hope to open in the early summer. It’s possible that we’ll be able to transfer our Friday food collection/delivery offer from the Mascall Centre to the Assembly Rooms slightly earlier. Fingers crossed.
We’ll be open: 8am to 8pm for breakfast, lunch, beautiful coffee and cakes, early evening food and wine. Early summer: Tuesday to Saturday Late summer: Monday to Saturday From the autumn: Seven days a week 8am to 8pm It’s been a long wait but it’s going to be worth it! |
