You can book our café any evening for private parties. From 5.30pm you can book for groups of up to 30 while the café is still open. Then, from 7.30pm, you can have exclusive use for up to 60 people.

For larger groups there are other spaces available within the Assembly Rooms.

Starters

• Locally smoked salmon, dressed leaves, horseradish crème fraiche
• Tudge’s ham with mustard dressed cauliflower, roast carrot and spinach salad
• Goat’s cheese and pesto filo parcel, dressed leaves (V)
• Baba ganoush bruschetta with balsamic roast beetroot & rocket (Ve)
• Mushroom bisque (V)

Main courses

• Free-range tamarind and ginger roast chicken (on the bone) with coconut and lentil basmati rice, roast pepper ketchup and salad leaves
• Brisket of local beef with mushrooms and red wine, gratin dauphinoise and sweetheart cabbage
• Slow roast shoulder of Perrywood Farm lamb shoulder with ratatouille and tabouleh 
• Lentil, leek and aged White Leicester cheese bake, courgettes in tomato and basil sauce (V)
• Thai red curry with butternut squash and fine beans, basmati rice and a cashew, red onion and coriander garnish (Ve)

Desserts

• Seasonal fruit fool with almond biscuits (V) 
• Lemon curd tart with crème fraiche (V)
• Salted caramel chocolate and walnut brownie, vanilla ice cream (V)
• Apple and raspberry crumble, vanilla ice cream (V)
• Mousetrap cheeses, our bread, chutney  (+ £8 as additional course)
