Kitchen Dinners
A new monthly event for 2026!
Our Kitchen Dinners will be led each month by a different member of our very talented team.
The menu will celebrate seasonal produce, sourced locally, and cooked with our usual care and skill.
There is one sitting at 7.30pm and numbers are limited.
Friday 16 January: Food from Bill. Wine from Will.
The first month, Bill will feature three of his favourite dishes. And to give us a particularly delicious start Will Bentley (purveyor of superb wines just across the square from us) will be on hand to offer a different wine for each course.
If you like what you drink, he’ll have a few bottles with him that you can buy to take home.

- Roquefort, endive and pear salad with walnut dressing with Bill’s bread;
- Overnight roast Tudge’s pork shoulder, cider jus, crackling, gratin dauphinoise, squash and thyme puree, Hispi cabbage;
- Panettone, orange and marmalade bread and butter pudding.

If you’re going to an event at the Assembly Rooms on the same day as our Kitchen Dinners, you can still book in for the usual delicious simple 2-course menu 5.30–6.30pm.
